The Sun…. The Moon….The Stars

Ah the sun how beautiful you are smiling at us all.

Smiling at your baby earth still so proud like a parent seeing there child’s graduation.

How glorious it must be to love your precious earth and all the other planets, your children.

One day you’ll grow old maybe your light dim, and you’ll be gone.  Don’t fret you’ll be missed but never forgotten, you’ll always be missed by your children.

Oh Sun they’ll miss your beautiful bright light shinning in the sky.

Oh you lone wolf, the Moon.

You came through drifting like a weary traveler.

You happened to see the beautiful baby earth and wanted to bless it with you’re cold kiss.

Looking at the reckless earth you couldn’t bare to leave it so young, you wanted to watch it grow.

How you stayed and calmed the reckless earth and helped the earth inside grow bigger and stronger.

How you brought a new light when the sun could not.

Sadly you cannot stay forever.

The earth grows you slowly drift away.

Soon out of the earth’s reach, where you will drift off once again.

Do not worry you watched the earth and now it knows

How it will thrive once you go.

You helped the Earths children grow and now we’ll miss you now that you go.

Oh Stars shinning bright little light bulbs that keep the earth company in the night.

How you were the earths night light in its dark scary room.

How you played with the earth, the sun, and the moon, happy to be with a friend.

You were here and saw it all, the Sun being born and the Earth and the moon.

However Stars we might be leaving you alone soon.

You were here before the Sun and you’ll be here after the Sun, in the night sky alone once again.

When the Sun dims out,

And the Moon walks away.

You’ll still have the earth to laugh and to play.

Sadly the Earth will age and wither, until there’s nothing left.

So I’m sorry Stars who grant out wishes, who light dark rooms, who laugh and play.

We will be with you until the final day.
